Fifty Seconds With Director Ross Brown

Five Weeks Which Seemed Ages

"A laugh riot that firmly connected with its intended audience, who loved it" - Bath Fringe Hub The summer of 1857. Charles Dickens has an unexpected houseguest. Hans Christian Andersen was supposed to stay a fortnight. He has been here five weeks, and is getting on everyone’s nerves. And now, some of his fairy tales are starting to come true! This show is our latest reimagining of an actual historical event, and promises to be packed full of anachronism, absurdism and anarchy. FIVE WEEKS WHICH SEEMED AGES premiered at The Mission Theatre, Bath, and went on to Chipping Sodbury Town Hall in June 2026.
